More about the tour
- Our tour program begins at 07:30 - 08:30 in the morning. We will pick you up at your hotel and head to the Köprülü Canyon National Park. The Köprüçay River, where the rafting takes place, flows through this area. On the way, you will enjoy the scenic views of mountains, sea, forests, and colorful villages passing by your window.
- Upon arrival at Köprülü Canyon, you will head straight to the rafting center. Here you can change into your swimwear or spare clothes. Our instructor will then give a safety briefing, provide helmets, life jackets, and split your group into teams of 6-8 people. Each inflatable raft is designed for this number of people, and an experienced captain-instructor will lead each team, guiding you on what to do in various situations while on the water.
- After all the preparations, you will head to the starting point. Here the real fun begins. Your team will first launch your raft into the water. Then, following the captain's command, you'll take your place on the boat, grab a paddle, and start rafting down the river. It will be a successful and enjoyable experience as long as you listen to your captain and follow his instructions.
- The water route is divided into sections. The first stop is near the famous ancient Roman bridge. Here you can rest from active paddling and try the thrilling zipline – a fast ride on a stretched cable. After this adventure, you will continue rafting down the river.
- The finish line is near the rafting base. You will have the opportunity to take a shower and change into dry clothes before continuing your adventure with a quad safari.
- Upon arrival at the course, the instructor will give a safety briefing, explain how to operate the bike, provide a helmet, and you will set off on a picturesque route on quad bikes.
- After the quad safari, you can view the photos and videos taken by the operator during your tour and purchase them if you wish.
- Rafting, ziplining, and quad biking require a lot of energy, which you can replenish during a delicious and hearty lunch included in the tour cost. Only after this will you head back to your hotel.

About the Attractions
KÖPRÜLÜ CANYON
- Tourists staying in Turkish resort cities such as Antalya, Kemer, Alanya, Belek, and Side head to the Köprülü Canyon National Park near the village of Beşkonak in the Manavgat district, located 125 km from the center of Antalya, for rafting activities.
- The Köprülü Canyon National Park, established in 1973, covers an area of 366,140 hectares. It is named after the Köprüçay River canyon formed between the villages of Beşkonak and Balasan. Köprülü Canyon is considered the largest canyon in the Turkish Republic, stretching 14 km in length and reaching heights of 100 meters. In some places, the canyon walls are nearly impossible to climb.
- The Köprüçay River, or Köprü, originates in the Taurus Mountains and flows through natural canyons, fed by underground waters, before emptying into the Mediterranean Sea south of the town of Serik. Its length is 183 kilometers. Being a full-flowing source with a strong current, both in summer and winter, Köprüçay is ideal for rafting and other water sports.
- It is worth noting that the Köprülü Canyon National Park is one of the most beautiful natural recreational areas in Turkey. It hosts the largest natural cypress forest in the entire Mediterranean region, covering 400 hectares. Its rich fauna includes 48 rare and endangered species, with 44 species being endemic to the area and 5 species globally endangered.
- The reserve is home to mountain goats and black salamanders, and you can admire the soaring Anatolian vulture and griffon vulture in the sky.
- Many historical and archaeological monuments, such as castles, aqueducts, roads, and ancient bridges, are preserved here. For example, the famous ancient Roman Oluk Bridge, connecting two parts of the Köprülü Canyon, serves as a gateway and a distinctive landmark of the natural park.
- To the west of the Köprüçay River, in the mountainous area, lie the ruins of the ancient city of Selge, founded in the 5th century BC. From the once majestic city, remains of the ancient theater, agora, cisterns, aqueducts, and temples of Zeus and Artemis can still be seen.
RAFTING
- Rafting is considered the most accessible and safe among extreme sports.
- It involves navigating a mountain river on an inflatable raft, overcoming water obstacles, and passing rapids.
- Even a person with no experience will feel immense excitement, an adrenaline rush, and a sense of accomplishment from managing the roaring, fast-flowing mountain river almost independently. All you need for success is to listen carefully to the safety briefing on land and follow your experienced instructor's commands on the water.
- All rafting routes in Turkey have a difficulty level of 2, sometimes 3, suitable for both beginners and advanced rafters. The actual time spent on the water is about 2 hours, with active paddling alternating with rest on land.
- The ideal time for rafting is from June to September, as even on the hottest days, the water temperature in the river remains 10-12°C.
QUAD BIKE SAFARI
- The quad bike is a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle that is very popular in tourism due to its maneuverability and ability to traverse any rough terrain. It is also quite easy to operate, so no prior driving experience or a driver's license is necessary.
- The quad bike can easily tackle bumpy roads, uphill climbs, forest trails, and water obstacles, taking you to the most inaccessible places so you can fully enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature.
- Quad bikes typically reach speeds of 60-70 km/h. However, quad biking in Turkey is primarily for entertainment, with no extreme racing - safety first!
Zipline
- For those who love active and extreme recreation, ziplining is a must-try.
What is a zipline? A zipline is an improved version of the old-fashioned swing, with the main difference being that the descent is done on a steel cable stretched over a gorge, using a special harness system to which the person is attached. The speed of the ride depends on both the length of the cable and the person's weight.
- The zipline in Köprülü Canyon is absolutely safe, fully controlled by experienced instructors who will help you with everything, familiarize you with safety techniques, and explain how to behave during the flight.
- The adrenaline rush and thrilling sensations from ziplining in Köprülü Canyon will stay with you for a long time.
